God’s Word is to be put in practice, because 1 John 2:4-5 ”He who professes to know Him, and yet does not obey His commands, is a liar, and the truth has no place in his heart. But whoever obeys His Message, in him love for God has in very deed reached perfection.”
Only if we
love God more than any thing, any plan, or any person in this
life, is eternal life possible. If we loved God, we would have
faith in Him, we would trust Him, and we would do whatever His Word
says. We are
Every divine truth
taught in the Bible is God had the New Testament written so we could know how to live by faith, and how to trust Him in faith. The Bible explains what and how we are to do—from the most minor incident to the most major circumstance we could encounter. If we fail to accept His Word as our rule of life, we fail to accept His Son as the Savior of our soul. To be in Christ is to follow His Word in faith, and to be in sin is to follow the world in rebellion. Anyone 1 John 2:6 “who professes to be continuing in Him is himself also bound to live as He lived,” because 1 John 2:17 ”he who does God’s will continues for ever.”
The divine truth
of the entire Bible is to trust on the living God for everything that
concerns this life here on earth. The average Christian would not lie,
steal, or commit The Bible teaches that we are to depend only on the living God for our spiritual life, our physical healing, for good health, divine protection, inner peace, daily needs and everything else—not trust on the plans and ways of the world that are conceived by the devil. We are to trust God for victory in our homes, for the control of work situations, and for every other issue. The sin that Adam committed, the world commits every day. Satan has a billion visible substitutes to replace faith on an invisible God. The world offers everything from a living will, to an insurance policy to depend on, rather than trust on the living God. Adam’s sin was not lying or stealing—but the sin of not trusting God in faith. Many profess faith in Christ, but at the same time do not trust God for anything. Satan has had control of them for so long, that they think it is unreasonable to follow the teaching of the Bible. They have never trusted God for any divine light, and they have never asked for His Holy Spirit to inspire them in faith, so God has never had the opportunity to do things for them. Problems in the workplace are to be placed before God in prayer, but Satan has a multitude of substitutes—employees band together to force an employer to give them their rights, bring about justice, offer pay raises, pension benefits, and medical plans. Joining such people is the same principle involved in accepting the Mark of the Beast during the Tribulation that is coming on a rebellious and un-believing world Revelation 13:16. If we are going through a spiritual battle, where we have to trust God, we are to rejoice and thank Him for the opportunity of learning a spiritual lesson. When a victory is received by trusting God in faith, spiritual light is the result. James 1:12 ”Blessed is the man who perseveres [endures] under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” Very few professing believers even realize that how we meet trials and temptations in this life, is just evidence of our faith in God. Eternal Life is directly connected to meeting things in this life by faith on God. He does not allow us to resent one thing, or one person, for any reason. Jesus said Mark 11:25 “When you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." Anyone who passes from this life, with resentment in their heart, is not eligible to enter the kingdom of God—according to the Word of God. If God can cast a demon out of someone Mark 5:8, He can certainly take resentment out of our heart—if we will trust Him in faith to do it. Romans 12:19 “Revenge belongs to Me: I will pay back,’ says the Lord." If we do not forgive everyone from the heart, Jesus taught that every past sin we ever committed is charged against us. The servant who refused to forgive is called wicked, and Jesus said he would be tortured until he did forgive. Matthew 18:35 "In the same way my Heavenly Father will deal with you, if you do not all of you forgive one another from your hearts."
Trusting God for
health and healing is a No one could enter God’s kingdom, if they had more faith in prescriptions and pills, than on the living God who created the universe. Such people give evidence that they have never committed their life to God, and have never asked for the Holy Spirit to inspire them in faith to trust God for healing. There are millions of churches today that do not teach the vital truths of faith and trust on the living God—and they will be held accountable Hebrews 4:13. If God could teach Abraham how to trust for the healing of his body—when Abraham had no Bible—then God could teach us today with a full volume of truth in Scripture. Anyone who truly loves God, would definitely trust Him for healing. Abraham Romans 4:20-21 “did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do [perform] what he had promised.”
The man let down through the roof in front of Jesus, got up in faith,
and walked out on his own, because
Mark 2:10

Jesus
marveled at the centurion who took Him at His word and returned home in
faith. Jesus remarked that
Matthew 8:11
“many will come from the east and the west, and will take
their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jesus said we would have to trust God in faith each day, and not put financial assets aside for the future—like investments, pensions, emergency cash, or government programs. Our savings’ account is to be placed in heaven Matthew 6:19:21. Jesus said the world runs after material things and worries constantly, but the believer is to Matthew 6:33 “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”—by faith and trust on God. The rich man, Luke 16 who did not trust God on earth, and who found himself in agony in the flames, proves that financial issues are real faith issues. Jesus referred to the Commandments Mark 10, and told the young man to sell his financial assets, give the profits to the poor, and then follow Him in faith each day. The man rejected the advice, and he would forfeit his eternal soul, if he did not repent, believe Jesus, and place his trust on God. The disciples did what Jesus taught Acts 2:44-45, because when the Holy Spirit was in their heart, they obeyed God’s Word without delay, pressure, or force. The Holy Spirit now had control of their life, so they gladly trusted God in faith. Jesus had taught them about financial trust on God, saying Mark 10:23, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!" They responded 28, "We have left everything to follow you!" They had sold their homes, gave the money to charity, and followed Jesus by trusting God in faith each day. Mark 10:29-30 "I tell you the truth," Jesus re-plied, "no one who has left [given up] home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields [lands; property] for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age [life]—([all those things given up]—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.” That is God’s divine plan for eternal life—to trust Him in faith for everything in life. The One who inspired the writing of the Bible, is the One who inspires us in faith to obey it. No one would be able to follow Bible teaching, unless the Holy Spirit inspired them in believing faith. God wants to give us many gifts—and that includes eternal life. ††† |
